Suzail
The royal capital of Cormyr — a city of wealth, intrigue, and the Purple Dragon Throne.
Suzail, heart of the Forest Kingdom, gleams on the northern shores of the Dragonmere — a city where the banners of House Obarskyr flutter above marble towers and winding cobblestone streets. The clang of forges and the cries of hawkers echo between stately manors, crowded markets, and secret alleys that never sleep. Here, nobles, merchants, and adventurers alike live beneath the watchful gaze of the Purple Dragons and the ever-present eyes of the War Wizards. Beneath its splendour, however, whispers of intrigue and danger course like hidden currents beneath the Dragonmere’s calm surface.

Districts of Suzail
The city consists of 9 adjacent quarters, each one with their respective underground sewer area. All buildings can be visited - some of importance, many for ambience, with lots of interactable NPCs inside, each one with their own story. The city is accessible after a long, battle-ridden journey through the King's Forest.
Landmarks of Note
- Castle Obarskyr crowns the city, while the War Wizards’ tower stands sentinel beside it. The town hall hums with petitions and proclamations; the Obarskyr Guard drill on polished courts. Coin and policy meet at the finance ministry and the royal bank, where ledgers weigh as much as swords.
- Faith is strong in Suzail. Temples to Helm and Ilmater keep vigil and comfort; the House of Oghma preserves hard-won knowledge beside a bustling scriptorium. Down by the water, the faithful of Umberlee bargain with the waves, while the Tower of Good Fortune smiles on the bold and lucky.
- The Six Candles glows with quiet rumor; the Queen’s Head pours strong opinion with stronger ale. The Old King’s Favourite remembers livelier reigns, while the Golden Goblin caters to coin-heavy adventurers. On the waterfront, the Mermaid Inn and the Laughing Lass thrive beside sailors’ haunts. The Royal Theater draws nobles and commoners to gasp as one beneath velvet drapes.

| Eveningstar | ![]() |
Nestled where the Stormhorns meet the King’s Forest, Eveningstar is a peaceful frontier village of adventurers, pilgrims, and wanderers. The scent of pine drifts through its lanes, and light spills warmly from Tessaril Winter’s inn. Though it stands as a resting place between wilderness and civilization, old ruins below whisper of darker times and hidden treasures. |
| Wheloon | ![]() |
Built along the slow bend of the Wyvernflow River, Wheloon is a city of green-painted houses and industrious craftsfolk. Barges crowd its quays, and temples ring with the voices of faithful merchants. Once tranquil, the city has grown restless under the weight of its own ambition and the shadow of royal eyes ever watchful. |
| Waymoot | ![]() |
Perched amid rolling farmland and high woods, Waymoot serves as a waystation for knights and traders bound for Suzail. The air hums with horse bells and the chatter of market stalls. Small in size but rich in gossip, the town lives by its inns and stables, where news travels faster than any rider. |
| Immersea | ![]() |
On the shores of the Wyvernwater lies Immersea, a riverside town of fishermen, vineyards, and minor nobles. The purple banners of Cormyr ripple over whitewashed villas, and the scent of crushed grapes hangs heavy in the air. Though peaceful, the town hides quiet rivalries between its wealthy families and a pride as deep as the lake itself. |
| Dhedluk | ![]() |
Dhedluk stands at the forest’s edge, half village and half watchpost, its people strong from the land and wary of what lurks in the trees. Lumber and charcoal are its lifeblood, and the axes of foresters ring from dawn to dusk. Simple, proud, and fiercely loyal to the crown, Dhedluk endures as Cormyr’s steadfast frontier. |
